Sadhu in Shree Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal
I’m just coming back from Nepal with a hard drive full of pictures, so expect to see more of this here. To be honest, on my arrival in Kathmandu, I got rightaway overwhelmed in a swirl of colours, sounds, smells and dust, too much confusion, too much information to handle, so I just retreated back to toursit mode, right in the middle of my comfort zone, taking the time to adjust…
So I’m starting off with an easy one, the kind of shot you can’t mess up: a sadhu with a benevolent smile in an Hindu temple (maybe smiling because of the five bucks I gave him – may seem a lot but even though weed is cheap in Nepal – they say – it’s hardly affordable for heavy smokers like sadhus 🙂
Conclusion: this site will take the shape of a traveller’s blog for next couple of weeks or so, again, expect to see more of this kind of pictures.
